Introducing the New Intern

Hello everybody! My name is Shelly Dean and I am the newest addition to the Art House crew and I wanted to take the moment to introduce myself and give some insight to who I am and my interests. I am currently enrolled in my fourth year at Kent State University, majoring in Visual Communication Design. Through the VCD program, I was able to discover the internship position at Art House a lot more easily and effectively. Taking it back to my freshman year at KSU, I majored in Studio Art, then Art Education; I tend to gravitate more towards the painting and drawing side of the fine arts (some of my personal works shown below), but I participated in a ceramics course two years ago and found myself feeling nostalgic and excited to see all of the throwing wheels inside Art House. I look forward to creating with Art House and am extremely grateful for the opportunity! Thank you. :)
