June 10th - 13th, 2024 (Monday - Thursday) Morning Camp 0:00 AM - 11:30 AM Summer Art Camp: Cubist Creations with Chris Yong of YAC Fine Art Center Spend the week learning about Cubism and creating art like the famous Cubist artists. Be inspired by Juan Gris, Pablo Picasso, Georges Braque, and contemporary artists. Draw, paint, and explore what this style of art-making is all about! Planned projects: cubism landscape from drawings of the Creative Garden and nature, monochromatic relief sculpture, and a collage portrait Art House, Inc. Summer Camps take place at Art House inside and outside in the new Creative Garden space. The camps are open to all ages and families. 2nd graders and up are welcome to attend independently. Children younger than 2nd grade should be accompanied by an adult for assistance. These fun, new camps are ***FREE*** this summer due to funding from PNC Charitable Trusts Robert H. Reakirt FDN Equities. Please register each camper and in advance so the teaching artist can plan for supplies and activities accordingly. If you need to cancel let us know one full week before camp begins for planning purposes. Before the camp, a registration form will be emailed to enroll your campers fully. Bring this form to Art House on the first day at check-in or you may fill it out on-site if needed. Lastly, review our class/camp policies before attending.
