Service Description
Trash to Treasure with Heather Molecke Summer Art Camp Week 2 June 30-July 3 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) 1:00-2:30 PM at Art House, Inc. Explore the magic of turning discarded materials into creative masterpieces, all while learning about sustainability and environmental responsibility. Over four imaginative days, campers will dive into hands-on projects that transform everyday waste—like magazines, cardboard, plastic bottles, and bags—into expressive art. From storytelling assemblages and cardboard sculptures to whimsical plastic bottle creatures and floral bag gardens, each activity fosters artistic expression and a deeper understanding of how reimagining “trash” can lead to meaningful, eco-conscious art. Art House, Inc. summer camps take place inside and outside in the new Creative Garden space. The camps are open to all ages and families. 2nd graders and up are welcome to attend independently. Children younger than 2nd grade should be accompanied by an adult for assistance. Our new, fun summer art camps are ***FREE*** due to generous support from PNC Charitable Trusts Robert H. 00-2 FDN Equities. Please register each camper and accompanying adult online in advance so the teaching artists can plan activities and supplies accordingly. If you need to cancel, let us know one full week before camp begins for planning purposes. Before the first day of camp, a registration form will be emailed to enroll your campers fully. Bring this form to Art House on the first day at check-in, or you may fill it out on-site. Parent/guardian photo IDs may be needed for pickup. Lastly, please review our class/camp policies fully before attending. Questions: You can reach Art House directly at 216-398-8556 or by emailing eraby@arthouseinc.org or lvoss@arthouseinc.org. We can't wait to get creative this summer!
