Art House Welcomes

New Executive Director

Amy Craft

 

After an extensive search process by the Art House Board, we are thrilled to have selected Amy Craft as the new leader of Art House. Amy’s background, her commitment to the arts,and her enthusiasm for leading a community organization will be a great asset to Art House.

Amy brings a wide range of experience to the role of Executive Director with a background in curriculum design, teaching, gallery management, event planning and administration. Her extensive knowledge of arts education programming will be invaluable to Art House as it continues to offer high quality art classes to all of its constituents.


As Education Director of the Massillon Museum, Amy developed museum programming for both adults and children K-12. In addition, she implemented programming for local elementary schools as part of the museum outreach initiative. Amy also collaborated with a range of organizations as Outreach Educator for the Akron Museum of Art.

Most recently, Amy served as an art teacher at St. Patrick’s school in Kent, where she oversaw the art curriculum for K-8th grade students. She also coordinated “Art in the Park”, an annual fine arts festival in Kent increasing the profile of the festival by gaining significant sponsorship support and creating marketing plans to ensure expanded press coverage.
