Kate Snow studied drawing and photography in California before relocating to Cleveland in 2001. After years of working in the darkroom, the collective switch to a digital format prompted her to change her focus to printmaking. The most dominant elements in her work are highly stylized and very design-oriented with a focus on shape and pattern. The ability to produce a number of prints within an edition and to design work of a smaller scale reflects her roots in photography and allows her to sell original art at an affordable price. Her work can be found in various local galleries and boutiques, including Salty Not Sweet, on W. 25th, Local Girl Gallery, in Lakewood, and the Banyan Tree, in Tremont. She currently prints at Zygote Press.
