Gina DeSantis

Ceramic artist Gina DeSantis earned her BA in 2002 from Cleveland State and graduated with an MFA from Kent State in 2006. DeSantis works primarily in white stoneware clay to make beautiful, functional wares both on the wheel and through handbuilding techniques. Her aesthetic is highly influenced by her environment, and organic imagery can be found throughout her work. Along those same lines, sustainable practices are extremely important to DeSantis and is reflected in the environmentally progressive way she runs her professional studio.
