AH SEAN (Self-Employed Artists' Network) provides professional development opportunities for artists and arts educators. AH SEAN promotes the work of regional artists, fosters best practices, and acts as a nexus between art and business.

CERAMIC STUDIO TIME & SPACE
clay studio time & space is an entirely new program giving SEAN members time and studio space to work independently on ceramic projects in the Art House studio. We have throwing wheels, a slab roller, and kilns. Artists may choose to pay for individual sessions instead of signing up for the full month.
For the monthly fee of $40, SEAN members may work in the AH studio on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-4pm. Locker space (but not a lock), firings and glaze is included. Clay is purchased separately from Art House for $12/25 lb bag.
Payment options:
- $40/month for full studio use during all clay studio time days for the month.
- $10/session for single session studio use
Studio artist responsibilities include:
- cleaning up and leaving the AH studio by 4pm
- maintaining a clean working environment
- being a considerate community member
- purchasing clay through Art House
- recycling clay in the AH system or individually
- using the AH pre-sink-clean-up system prior to using the sink
- informing AH staff about any equipment or general studio maintenance problems
- signing up for or renewing a locker space each month
Art House is responsible for:
- providing glazes
- providing a locker
- providing working throwing wheels
- providing a safe studio environment
- firing 1 bisque kiln and 1 glaze kiln each month (subject to change)
Art House is not responsible for:
- lost or stolen personal items, clay, ceramic pieces, tools
- broken, cracked, or misplaced ceramic work
- providing instruction during studio hours
*Occasionally, the Art House studio may be needed for other purposes during clay open studio time & space. Art House reserves the right to cancel open studio sessions.

Your page will include:
- Summary – artist statement or description of your work (150 words)
- Contact information including email and phone number
- Photographs – up to four photos of your work (see attached requirements)
- Additional Information - there will be space below the photos for information about the work, your shows, and or resume
- Discounts on other services provided by ArtistsofCleveland.com, including photography, scanning, copy work, archival giclee/inkjet prints, slides from digital files, design services, press releases and more
Costs and How It Works
The cost to participate for the first year is $55.00. This includes your Membership to ArtistsofCleveland.com and Art House administrative fees. It does not include your AH SEAN Membership fees. Should you choose to maintain your ArtistsofCleveland.com Membership for a second year the cost of renewal is $40 and includes administrative fees.
