Here we are. Gifts have been wrapped, cocoa drunk, parties attended and copious amounts of sugar consumed. Ok, so maybe not every part of the holiday season is as altruistic as we sometimes like to think it is. But, no matter how you feel about certain aspects of this time of year, it’s hard not to feel a little warm and fuzzy inside as the weather rages outside. The dark cold days of winter and the impending end of another year leave me feeling grateful and sentimental every time. With all of the ancillary stress that inevitably comes with the holidays: family, presents, budget, traffic, calories, family, family…it can be hard to take time out and enjoy a respite from the everyday. So here’s our wish for you. We hope that at some point in the next few days, you find yourself in the company of those you love, warm, fed and content. With time to reflect on the year past and optimism for the future but firmly grounded in the here and now, at least for a day or two. Happy Holidays, everyone!
